Challenge: East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce’s branding needed a refresh, revamping how it communicated its offerings to both members and visitors from first impressions as a visor to members and clients The reception space needed to do more than welcome guests – it had to act as a living brand asset, conveying the Chamber’s services and each department’s impact with clarity and personality. The designs also had to be evergreen, avoiding quickly outdated statistics, whilst remaining engaging and relevant over time. Solution: I began with an infographic-led concept and developed it into a full suite of wall graphics, which would then be printed onto large vinyl sheets for fitting. Every detail was carefully designed, refined, and every space measured to ensure variety and balance across the text-focused layouts. The approach became the foundation for a new Chamber brand style, applied consistently across all communications. Outcome: The Chamber signage project redefined how the organisation presents itself internally and externally. The Chamber’s walls now function as both an information hub and a communications tool, engaging staff and educating visitors and local businesses. Beyond the physical space, the project established a cohesive and distinctive brand style that continues to influence the Chamber’s communications today.
